Open Water Referral
continuing education course
Open Water referral diving course – PADI & IFDI
You have already decided on the course and have completed your theory and pool sessions. Now, you can continue your training right here. Simply complete the four required open water dives at the beautiful dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand. Enjoy the warm water, averaging around 28°C (82°F), as you explore and experience the incredible underwater world.

What do you will learn?
The course includes 4 Open Water Dives from the boat. Usually first 2 around Koh Tao and on the last day 2 at Sail Rock. Once you are certified, you are allowed to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
Goal
This is the first real step in your diving career. You will learn everything you need to become an independent, self-sufficient diver. You will be able to explore the underwater world on your own (together with a buddy).
Prerequisites
You must bring your official referral paperwork with you. This documentation proves that you have successfully completed all required theory modules (which can also be completed online via eLearning) as well as all confined pool sessions.
Important: You should not fly for 18–24 hours after diving. The last dive ends at approximately 2:00 pm.
Next step
Keep gaining experience after your Open Water Diver certification and explore the world.
Once you feel comfortable underwater, you can choose the next level. This includes the Advanced Open Water / 30 Meter Diver course. The more you dive, the more secrets the ocean will reveal to you.
