AOWD itinerary – PADI / IFDI Advanced Open Water schedule

Day 1

8:00–08:30 AM – Hotel pickup (depending on your hotel’s location)
9:00 AM – Departure by speedboat to Koh Tao. During the journey, your instructor will provide a comprehensive briefing about the day’s dives and the Advanced Open Water course.
10:30 AM – Arrival at Koh Tao

PADI: Complete your first two Adventure Dives, typically including Underwater Navigation and one Adventure Dive of your choice.
IFDI: Complete your first Adventure Dive, during which all required skills are integrated into the training.

11:30 AM – End of the first dive. Travel to the second dive site
12:00 PM – Lunch served on board, followed by a detailed briefing for the second dive.
1:00 PM – Preparation for your second dive with your instructor. Practice the required skills based on your selected Adventure Dives.
2:30 PM – End of the second dive. Return by speedboat to Koh Samui.
4:00 PM – Arrival at the pier and transfer back to your hotel

Day 2

8:00–8:30 AM – Hotel pickup (depending on your hotel’s location)
8:40 AM – Arrival at the pier and preparation of your scuba equipment with your instructor.
9:00 AM – Departure by speedboat to Sail Rock. During the journey, your instructor will provide a detailed briefing for the day’s dives.
9:50 AM – Arrival at Sail Rock. The first dive is usually the Deep Adventure Dive, descending to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 ft) while practicing the required skills.
11:00 AM – End of the first dive. Enjoy a light brunch on board, followed by a comprehensive briefing for the second dive.
12:30 PM – Preparation for the second dive with your instructor. Complete the remaining Adventure Dive skills while exploring the spectacular reef and marine life around Sail Rock.
2:00 PM – End of the second dive. Return by speedboat to Koh Samui
3:00 PM – Arrival at the pier and transfer back to your hotel
